    Looking at the specs, I notice that mini w/o cellular has Digital Compass and while mini with GSM has Assited GPS. I understand it would be hard to have Assisted GPS without GSM, but does it mean that only minis with GSM will have GPS?
    What is Digital Compass then? I believe I can imagine what it could be (accelerometer with gyro), but I am not sure how it could help with location, especially when there is no GPS.

    My guess would be by scouting WiFi signals as that is the only other communications chip in there.
    If so it would limit the usability to locations with multiple WiFi signals.
